But it happens to be the product we’re trying to sell. So hey, why not be unapologetic about it? We remade the classic “Shweddy Balls” SNL skit, creating a cheeky, over-the-top segment that sneakily told all of the benefits of our Moist Deep Conditioner, without getting in the way of a good joke. Our clients loved it. The actors loved it. Lorne Michaels even agreed to it. And then fucking NBC decided that you could no longer license skits, and had to do brand partnerships instead. Which killed our spot…and our souls. For a bit, at least. It’s fine. We’re fine.
